There is no reason not to Ban Fox Hunting.

I just watched a video, posted by a pro-hunting farmer, of a Fox on his land. With this video he was clearly trying to whip up support for the continuation of hunting Foxes with packs of Dogs.

However, rather than depict how dangerous an animal a Fox is, when in amongst farm animals, this video showed nothing more 'horrific' than a Fox walking calmly across a field, amongst a flock of Sheep and not only was the Fox not in the least bit interested in the Sheep, but the Sheep were not in least concerned that the Fox was walking amongst them so they carried on calmly eating.

My country garden is completely surrounded by fields of Sheep, way out here in the sticks and I regularly capture images of a Fox sniffing around our paddock, probably hunting for the odd Rat. Despite Foxes being common around here I have never actually heard of any of my neighbouring farmers ever losing any healthy Lambs to a Fox.

I would highly recommend that people are not taken in for one moment, by all those 'old wives tales' or 'stories down the Pub' which try to portray Foxes as a deadly danger to all Lambs.
